I ran across a very nice blog post today from Johny Booker: 5 Simple Ways to Improve Profit Margins.

And they are indeed simple.  This is business basics, folks, not fancy magic.

Sure, it may scare the hell out of you to consider raising prices or reducing the breadth of your product line.  But I’ve talked to lots of small business owners recently for whom this is exactly the right kind of advice.

Don’t do it blindly, though.  Think through these important decisions, talk it over with someone who can help you see the unvarnished truth.
