I’ve been working on my gratitude practices recently, and realized that I’m most grateful for the people in my life!

I had the chance yesterday to visit with a relative that we haven’t seen for a while …

What a great way to enjoy our summer!

My thoughts this week are to the many blessings we have in our country.  Despite our tendency to look at the negative, we have a whole lot to be thankful for on this July 4th week!

The good news? We paid off our mortgage last week!

What are YOU celebrating?

We’re all building on the work of those who have gone before us.  In our country, our community, our profession, ….

It’s time to be grateful and think about how we’re building the foundation for the next generation!

Often it’s useful to step back and recognize what we have to share and build on!

I had a bit of a chance to play yesterday.


It was another great day with Leadership Fort Collins, this time focused on emergency services in the area:  Fire, police, SWAT, dispatch, and so on.  We even had a great panel giving us an update on the hard work that’s being done to implement Amendment 64, the legalization of recreational marijuana in the state.  Boy, that’s much tougher than the voters would ever expect.
